Sarah (she/her) leads communications for the Natural Capital Project with a focus on impact storytelling and strategic communications campaigns. Her interests converge at the intersection of environmentalism, communications, and social impact. Her goal is to increase environmental literacy and positive social change in our global community through effective communication. Prior to joining NatCap, Sarah worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in San Francisco. She specializes in environmental crisis communications and stakeholder engagement. Before EPA, Sarah served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines. There, she lived in a remote town in the Visayan Islands where she advocated for Coastal Resource Management planning through technical capacity building and environmental education campaigns.
She received her M.S. in Communication from Northwestern University and her B.S. in Environmental Studies and Psychology from Santa Clara University.
